Fenugreek (Methi) Chicken!






Ingredients:

Oil - 2 tbsp
Boneless Chicken - 1/2 kg
Finely cut Onion - 1
Finely cut Tomato - 1
Ginger Garlic paste
Methi - 1 bunch
Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Bay leaf - 1
Cinnamon - 1
Cloves - 2
Cardomom - 4
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt to Taste
Coriander leaves

Instructions:

Take oil in a skillet along with bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, stir until they begin to sizzle.
Add onions and ginger garlic paste andstir until it turns light brown.
Add chili powder and turmeric powder  and saute.
Add chicken and cover with lid until its tender on medium flame
Add tomatoes and yogurt  until tomotoes are well cooked (dissolve) on low flame.
Add garam masala, and methi leaves with little water if you would like it in a gravy form. (completely optional ). No water if you wish to have it in the dry form. Keep it to cook with the lid on.
Sprinkle pepper powder and saute.
Garnish with coriander leaves to finish.
